Here are a few resources that are now available to help students plan for the fall:

Register On Track Sessions

Register On Track sessions start today! These sessions are designed to assist students through the registration process and to ensure they’re set up to meet their degree’s requirements. Students should register in advance and can also check out the following resources from Register On Track:

• Course registration website

• Course planning worksheets

• Course registration video series

Ask Me Anything – Registration Edition

Students may still have questions even after attending the Register on Track sessions. That’s why we have Ask Me Anything sessions dedicated to course registration, helping to prepare our incoming students for the fall. Students must register in advance to participate.

Academic Timetable and Course Selection

The academic timetable, which students will use to choose courses and create their schedules, is now available for viewing at

While the plan is to deliver the majority of our courses in-person for fall and winter, there are a few other course delivery formats to watch for on the timetable:

  • Asynchronous (recorded) online courses do not require students to be online at any specific time/day.
  • Synchronous (live) courses are held online on a specific day/time every week. Courses that are delivered synchronously are scheduled in Atlantic Time.
  • In-Person (details TBA): This course will be offered in-person, but we are still working on the details for the classroom. Keep checking back for the room update.
  • Online (details TBA): This course will be offered online but we are still in the process of determining the delivery type (synchronous or asynchronous).
  • Some courses have both in-person and online components (e.g. asynchronous lecture, in-person lab/tutorial). The format is noted on the timetable for each component.

There will be adjustments made to the academic timetable leading up to the start of term in both September and January, so kindly advise the students to check back on their schedule for updated room assignments and scheduling information prior to the beginning of classes.

Should your student have any questions while preparing for registration, they can book an appointment with a student success advisor. Students studying in Halifax can email to set up an appointment, while Agricultural campus students can email
